Elopement in the Italian Dolomites
We started our hike at Parcheggio Lago di Sorapis and we followed trail 215 to get to the most beautiful and blue lake ever. The difficulty of the hike was medium to hard, we needed suitable hiking gear (good shoes, jacket for cold temperatures and hiking clothes in general, in order to enjoy the trail). The trail was approximately 14 km long and, in some places, pretty dangerous because of the steep drop and the narrow paths. Needless to say, the place is full of tourists, but we picked a good hour to go there and nobody was around when we arrived.
Mz couple eloped and we took pictures, we drank champagne, we shared stories and we had an amazing experience exploring the area together. We hiked back in the dark but we were prepared with headlamps and we arrived safely to the car. After that, we stopped and enjoyed a pizza and some hot chocolate at a restaurant at Lake Misurina. It was an incredible day and I am so happy with how the pictures turned out. Make sure to follow my Instagram stories to see the behind the scenes. Enjoy the gallery!
