Elopement in the Dolomites, Lake Sorapis
We started our hike at Parcheggio Lago di Sorapis and followed path 215 to reach the most beautiful blue lake ever. The difficulty of hike was medium to difficult, we needed proper hiking gear (good shoes, a jacket for cold temperatures, and hiking clothes in general to enjoy the trail). The trail was about 14 km long and quite dangerous in some places because of the steep slope and narrow paths. Of course, the place is full of tourists, but we had chosen a good time to go there, and when we arrived there was no one.
The couple eloped, and we took photos, drank champagne, exchanged stories, and explored the area together. We hiked back in the dark, but we were equipped with headlamps and made it safely to the car. Afterward, we stopped at a restaurant on Lake Misurina and enjoyed a pizza and hot chocolate. It was an incredible day and I'm very happy with how the pictures turned out. Be sure to follow my Instagram stories for a behind-the-scenes look. Enjoy the gallery!
